We teach a two day class where you will be among a small group of students learning your new art in an outdoor setting in Snoqualmie located right in front of mighty Mt. Si.

You will be taught chainsaw safety, wood selection, planning a preparation, basic cuts, texture styling, detail and finish techniques. Art background not required to get great results. Within two days you'll be producing finished carvings that you'll be proud to show to friends and family.

This class is runs one day at our chainsaw carving school and is available to experienced chainsaw owners who want to turn their chainsaw knowledge into fun and profit. Includes basic cuts, textured styling, and detailing and finishing techniques. This class is also well suited to the wood hand carver who would like to expediate block outs in order to spend more time at hand carving.

This is a two day class where the experienced chainsaw carver who has previously taken the novice class will learn advanced carving cuts, more detailed finishing techniques, and sign making including routing. In addition the student will be taught in a seminar style class marketing techniques, problem solving, wood gathering tips, and pricing which will include estimates and tips on offsite stump jobs.
